Jo-Wilfried Tsonga Petsonga (born April 17,
1985) is a professional tennis player. A French citizen, born in Le
Mans, he has a French mother and Congolese father, Didier Tsonga. His
career high ranking was #38, achieved on January 7, 2008. He had a
successful junior career, winning the U.S. Open Juniors title in 2003
by defeating Marcos Baghdatis in the final, and also reached the
semi-final stage of the other three Grand Slam events. At the 2007
Australian Open, Tsonga took the first set off Andy Roddick in a
twenty points to eighteen tiebreak. Tsonga has victories over former
number one players Carlos Moyà and Lleyton Hewitt, and he defeated
number 14 seed Mikhail Youzhny, number 9 seed Andy Murray, number 8
seed Richard Gasquet, and number 2 seed Rafael Nadal at the 2008

aggainst Janko Tipsarevic.

Jo Wilfried is in the news once again with a Finals match up in the Finals, will Tsonga have the same power and skill to make the finals of a grand slam aggain this year, well its only a matter of days till the Australian open starts so we will find out soon. I hope he makes it.

Tsonga is back into a winning position, after his first round match at wimbeldon.

Tsonga has made it into the 3rd round of the french open taking out Juan Monaco 7-5, 2-6, 6-1, 7-6,
french team mate Monfils also made it to the 3rd round, Tsonga said it was a great match and he
felt the comeptitor played well.
Hopefully tsonga takes out the french open.
